The Global Millet (Shree Anna) Conference 2023, which spanned two days, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on March 18th, 2023, at NASC, PUSA, New Delhi. The event was organized to celebrate the International Year of Millet 2023.
Among the attendees was the Millet Magic Foundation, the SPV of Mohanpur millet magic cluster, one of the successful SFURTI clusters established in Mayurbhanj with the assistance of KIIT-TBI (Technical Agency). The foundation had the privilege of showcasing their cluster products to Sri Narendra Singh Tomar, the Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, and Sri Piyush Goyal, the Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution. The millet-based products on display, such as cookies, wafers, millet pasta, and crackers, were greatly appreciated by Sri Modi ji, other government officials, and dignitaries.
This was a tremendous opportunity for the Millet Magic Foundation to showcase their products and raise awareness about the importance of millet in promoting sustainable agriculture and healthy eating habits.
