One more SFURTI cluster of KIIT TBI in Odisha has attained the fully functionalization status. Mahima Bamboo Craft and Agarbatti Cluster based at Chirulei of Dhenkanal district attained functionalization on 26th April, 2023. The cluster is set up under SFURTI by Seva Bharti as the Implementing Agency and Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (IED), Odisha as the Nodal Agency.
All the machineries are installed now in the Common Facility Centre (CFC). Currently, 50 artisans have started making agarbatti and other bamboo-based products; such as lamps, vase, baskets etc. The cluster has received the complete set of machineries that is enabling the artisans to make value added products.
The cluster participated in the Start-up Innovation Conclave 1.0 organized by the Technical Agency – KIIT-TBI in the month of December 2022 and had displayed a wide range of products produced at the CFC.
