KIIT Technology Business Incubator (KIIT-TBI), as the Technical Agency under the SFURTI Scheme of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, successfully facilitated the distribution of 100 Domestic Sewing Machines to artisans of the Urnati Jute Craft Cluster, Gop, Puri.
This initiative marks a significant step towards enhancing the productivity, income generation, and self-reliance of rural artisans by equipping them with essential tools for sustainable livelihoods. Beyond the distribution of machinery, the programme reflects our commitment to strengthening traditional crafts through technology, capacity building, and enterprise development. KIIT-TBI serves as a Technical Agency for SFURTI clusters, supporting infrastructure, skill development, market linkage, and sustainable cluster growth.
