Since the year 2000, Khordha Mahostsav is being organized as the symbol of native ethnicity and heritage. Khordha Mahotsav-2022 is being celebrated from 14th to 21st December of this year. This glorious event was inaugurated by Honorable Governor of Andhra Pradesh Sri Biswabhusan Harichandan on 14th December.
Around 120 products display stalls were set up by MSME rural entrepreneurs, startups, artisans, SHGs and producer groups. Banki Aromatic Products Cluster participated in the fair with its unique range of lemongrass essential oil, incense sticks and floor cleaners etc. The products were highly appreciated by the visitors. There was brisk sale of products.
Banki Aromatic Products Cluster is one of the progressive SFURTI clusters being developed by KIIT-TBI, as the Technical Agency. Gradually the cluster is gaining momentum by attracting the attention for its efforts to organize the farmers. The local farmers are increasingly drawn into cultivation of a high-revenue crop. The Cluster is also all set for manufacturing a unique product line with plan for diversification of the same.
