Gujarat visited KIIT-TBI on 21 st of December 2022.
Shri Samarendra Sahu, Advisor, KIIT TBI, in his interaction with Shri. Dash, shared KIIT-TBI’s achievements in developing a healthy and robust SFURTI ecosystem as a Technical Agency since 2019. He mentioned that KIIT-TBI has so far developed 19 rural manufacturing clusters in Odisha and North Eastern Region state of Manipur in various prominent sectors including agro-processing, aromatic products, handicrafts and handlooms.
He also brought to the notice of Shri Dash that KIIT TBI has taken many initiatives such as development of an e-commerce platform for on-boarding the products of SFURTI clusters and digital Management Platform for maintaining a functional data-base for SFURTI clusters to facilitate effective monitoring the progress of the clusters.

Dr. Mrutyunjay Suar, CEO, KIIT-TBI also greeted Shri Dash and shared a brief of KIIT-TBI’s proven strength as a leading Technology Business Incubator in the country. Dr. Suar took him for an exclusive tour of the incubation and testing facilities of KIIT-TBI.
Shri Dash appreciated the contribution of KIIT-TBI in nurturing a vibrant innovation and startup ecosystem and its efforts to take innovation to grassroot level through promoting clusters in rural areas under the SFURTI scheme of Ministry of MSME. He also offered to help KIIT-TBI to take its incubation as well as cluster development initiatives to other states including Gujarat.
