In a significant development, Mr. Sanjay Bisariya, the Financial Advisor and chief Accounts Officer (Traffic) at the Ministry of Railways, and former Joint Development Commissioner at the Ministry of MSME, paid a visit to KIIT Technology Business Incubator (KIIT-TBI) on December 29, 2023. The visit aimed to explore potential collaborations in the realms of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Welcoming Mr. Bisariya, Shri Samarendra Sahu, Advisor at KIIT-TBI, extended a warm reception. The discussions during the visit revolved around prospective collaboration opportunities between the Ministry of Railways and KIIT-TBI, focusing on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
During the visit, Mr. Bisariya engaged in fruitful conversations with Mr. Mrutyunjay Suar, CEO of KIIT-TBI, and Shri. Sahu regarding the future scope of collaboration. Expressing his keen interest in innovation and entrepreneurship, Mr. Bisariya conveyed a desire to explore the incubation facilities at KIIT-TBI.
Accompanied by Shri Sahu, Mr. Malay, Mr. Manish, and the SFURTI team, Mr. Bisariya toured the materials testing lab, chemical testing labs, and food testing lab along with the Center of Excellence (CoE) at KIIT-TBI. He interacted with 5-to 6 incubates such as; Bariflo Cybernetics Private Limited, Mokkomotto, Brahmakamal LLP, and others.
Impressed by the infrastructure facilities and comprehensive support provided by KIIT-TBI, Mr. Bisariya lauded the institution’s efforts in nurturing startups from the ideation stage to the product launch, encompassing research and innovation. During the discussions, the focus shifted to the KAVACH scheme, an initiative by Indian Railways aimed at preventing train collisions and addressing associated challenges. Mr. Manish proposed the idea of hosting a Hackathon to invite tech startups to present their innovative solutions.
As a token of appreciation, Mr. Bisariya was presented with a specially designed memento by Sh. Sahu, was created by an in-house startup of KIIT-TBI. This visit not only strengthened collaboration prospects but also underscored the potential for innovative solutions in future ventures.
