KIIT-TBI conducted LEAN awareness programme at Jamshedpur

KIIT-TBI conducted LEAN awareness programme at Jamshedpur in collaboration with MSME-DFO, Ranchi and NPC, Bhubaneswar

One more feather added on the cap of KIIT- TBI in the LEAN journey. KIIT-TBI has successfully conducted another LEAN awareness programme under MSME Competitive LEAN Scheme (MCLS) on 22 nd January, 2025 at Indo Danish Tool Room (IDTR), Adityapur, Jharkhand. The programme was organized by MSME-DFO, Ranchi in association with Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), National Productivity Council (NPC), Bhubaneswar and Industrial Stability and Reforms Organization (ISRO) which witnessed a participation of about 70 MSME units.

Esteemed dignitaries who attended the event included; Sh. Gaurav Kumar – Asstt. Director, MSME- DFO, Ranchi, Shri Anjan Kundu – Sr. Engineer, IDTR, Shri. Roshan Kujur – Deputy Director, NPC, Bhubaneshwar, Ms. Subhasmita Sahoo – Asstt. Manager, KIIT-TBI, Shri Rupesh Katriar – President, ISRO, Sh. Sameer Singh – Vice President, ISRO, Shri Saurav Mitra and Ms. Raishama Raj from KPMG.

The meeting started with the welcome address by Sh. Gaurav Kumar. Sh. Kujur delivered a speech on LEAN scheme, various LEAN tools and the benefits of the scheme for MSME units. Ms. Subhasmita put light on the MSME registration process under LEAN scheme, role of KIIT-TBI in implementation of the scheme and other tailor-made benefits available for the MSME units apart from the mentioned scheme. 

Sh. Samarendra Sahu- Advisor, KIIT-TBI and team also had joined the program virtually where Sh. Sahu addressed the gatherings and ensured providing his complete support to the MSME units. The owners and representatives of the MSME units put forth their queries regarding the scheme before the officials present in the program. They were also sensitized about other areas such as; ZED, Udyam registration, MSE-CDP scheme, Mudra yojna etc. by Sh. Gaurav and Sh. Kundu. Sh. Kundu motivated all the MSME units present at the program to be associated with NPC and KIIT-TBI and leverage the benefits of the LEAN scheme.
