A free health camp was successfully organized at Unnati Jute Cluster, Tarangira village, Gop block of Puri district for the beneficiaries of the cluster on 23 February 2025. The initiative was jointly organized by KIIT-Technology Business Incubator, the Technical Agency of the Cluster, and “Next Care Technology Pvt Ltd,” a Bhubaneswar-based healthcare technology startup.
Next Care Technology Pvt Ltd, also known as “Nextcare.life,” is dedicated to healthcare innovation. Their core focus includes prescription digitization, transforming handwritten prescriptions into digital versions for better accuracy and accessibility. Additionally, the company emphasizes patient safety by minimizing prescription errors within the healthcare system.
The health camp saw a remarkable turnout, with 65 attendees, mostly aged between 30 to 70 years. A team of dedicated professionals, including Dr. Kashmira Rout, Junior Resident and Consultant Doctor from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar, Col (Dr) Surendra Ramamurthy, Chief Medical Officer & Founding Member through online mode. Key members from Nextcare.life played a crucial role in organizing the event, including Sidharth Mohanty, Co-founder & CEO; Sambeet Mandal, Co-founder & CTO; Kanha Kumar Khatua, SDE and Founding Member, Saswata Srinivas Panda, Lead Pharmacist and Ayusman Bibhuprasad, QA Engineer. Their contributions ensured the seamless execution of the camp and enhanced the overall impact of the initiative. Ms. Sabita Nayak, the representative of the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of the cluster, was also present during the event.

The event also facilitated open discussions between healthcare providers and the community, fostering trust and collaboration.
