Adding to the strong footholds of SFURTI in Odisha, KIIT-TBI, one of the prominent Technical Agencies of the scheme has got the approval of one more handicrafts cluster in the Dhenkanal district. The Dhenkanal Metal Crafts Cluster is being promoted under this flagship scheme of the Ministry of MSME with Swasti Seva Sangathan as the Implementing Agency and the National Institute of MSME (NIMSME) as the Nodal Agency. In this development, a joint beneficiary verification drive, which would constitute the Special Purpose Vehicle for this cluster has been organized by NIMSME and the representatives of the MSME – Development and Felicitation Office (MSME-DFO), Cuttack on the 9th and 10th of February 2023.
Mr. D. Misra and his associate of MSME -DFO, Cuttack, and Mr. Srinibash, representative of NIMSME conducted this verification by scrutinizing the ADHAAR card, Bank Accounts, Voter ID, Artisan ID Cards in the physical presence of the beneficiaries. Swasti Seva Sangathan, Dhenkanal, the Implementing Agency, arranged the gathering of the beneficiaries and facilitated in smooth conduct of the process. The verification team also visited the job work artisans and witnessed the designing and production process there. An awareness program,highlighting the scope and future roadmap of the cluster development initiatives, was also organized. The representatives of MSME-DFO and NIMSME addressed the beneficiaries and encouraged them to extend their whole-hearted support for the cluster.
